Below are a bunch of misc. pictures from this past month. The girls snuck outside with a marker and were very quiet for about 10 minutes...this is the result...they wanted to be tigers. :-)
Swinging time!Just hanging out enjoying the lovely weather...
Observing the flamingos on a zoo trip.
Camel rides! Carrie still talks about her camel ride almost every day.Mamma and Si going for a ride!
Too tuckered to keep up with all the excitement.
Lydia and some neighbor friends made dolls out of our chopsticks.
A family Costco trip! Grandma has one fully loaded cart!
Friends came over and cracked open a coconut that we've had in our play room for a few years. As expected, it was not a pretty sight or smell inside.
Sisterly love...
We are blessed to have an ice-cream truck that comes down our road. There's nothing quite as exciting as hearing that "Popeye the Sailor Man" tune when we're playing outside.
My mom, Lydia and I got to watch our friend act in the musical, "The Sound of Music." It was a great show and Lydia absolutely LOVED it!
Giving Daddy some snuggles before he leaves for work...
I usually cut Zach's hair and Lydia has been asking to give it a try. So here she is giving Daddy a hair cut! Hopefully soon she can take over!
We got to witness our niece and nephew's dedication this month! Such a blessed service and so glad we were able to attend- with Zach being a preacher we don't often get to be at other churches on Sundays. After the service I tried to get a picture of Zach and the kids since it was Father's Day....epic fail.
Our good friends, the Bussis, were in town from their new home in Montana and we got to enjoy a lunch and some play time at a park together. So great to connect and hear how they are doing. Lydia photo-bombing our picture... :-)
The dads and Si.
We went to Frederick Meijer Gardens with my friend, Anna, and her son, Carter. Our girls just adore Carter. Almost anytime we were walking around, they grabbed his hands...so sweet.
My Aunt Helen, who lives in Arizona, was here for her annual visit so it was great connecting with her again!
The girls and me after a fun swim...
Our van wouldn't start one morning so my dad was kind enough to pick us up so we could have a fun outing. Thank you! We checked out a park near our home that was on a small lake. It was awesome!
Grandpa and Silas on the boardwalk.
I turned 34 this month! Wow- really?! Here we are about to enjoy my ice-cream cake. Some friends from Canada were in town so we got to have them over for dinner and catch up. The kids had fun eating and playing together too!
Carrie and Shane really hit it off. :-)
Both Lydia and Carrie have been a big help by feeding Silas his morning bottle. They are going to be little mothers when Baby #4 comes in a couple months.
Great month! Now onto July!
