35/36 weeks!

I am living large these days! Here I am at 35 and 36 weeks along. Baby is VERY active and I am feeling VERY preggo.

We are getting more and more excited to meet this little one! And I am getting very excited to be able to bend over without grunting again. ;-)

Misc. August Pics

Below are several random pictures from this past month. Daddy reading a story to the girls before bed.
Goodbye kisses as Daddy heads off to work.
A sleepy Si...
And a silly Si...
Group hug!!
The kids pretending to be Mommy- notice Lydia and Silas' bellies. :-)
A typical breakfast- just to remember what it's like in 20 years.
We went back to Deer Tracks Junction with my sisters and the cousins! We had a great time and enjoyed ice-cream after a fun morning. Notice Si in the bottom right corner. :-)
Super cute kids all ready for church.
 Cutie Carrie.
Our Lyddi-cat after a fun morning at a church function.
Just a fun picture before heading to church. Not sure what Si is doing in the background.
Well, that wraps up August. Onto September, the month we get to meet our newest family member!

Roo's in Town!

My dear friend, Carrie (AKA Roo) was in town and we got to connect again. I think it's been a couple years since we were together so it was lovely to see her again. We got to go out for dinner and then the next day she came over for a playdate with her son. Below Robert and Silas are meeting for the first time.

Here we are together for a quick shot before she had to leave.
Thanks so much for making time to visit Roo! It was such a treat to spend time with you and meet your precious little man. You are a true friend and sister in Christ!

Deer Tracks Junction

We went Deer Tracks Junction for a fun outing- thanks for the recommendation Jayne! We loved it! Such a cool, clean place where you can feed fawns, hold bunnies and birds, play in a big sandbox and play on a variety of awesome playgrounds.
Feeding the fawns!
Holding a bunny- she was very excited.
Stopping for ice-cream after lunch at the main headquarters.
Lydia got to bottle feed a baby goat. But the goats were very aggressive and it was a little frightening- as you can see from her face.
By the end of the day Carrie was brave enough to pet one of the many baby goats wandering around.
After seeing all the sights we played on an awesome playground. Honestly, we could have spend 2 hours just at the playground. It was great!

Church Picnic!

We attended our annual church picnic this month. We enjoyed a delicious meal and followed it up with some games. Zach got to play tug-of-war with the kids.
The highlight of the night was a little game the girls got to participate in with Zach. They got to put shaving cream on his face and then toss cheese balls on it! It was very fun and very funny to watch!

So much fun!

The end result. :-)
Below the girls are posing with their beloved babysitter, Miss Britany. She is a mature, loving tremendous blessing to our family. As you can see from the girls expressions, they adore her.
What a great night of fellowship and fun. We feel so blessed to belong to a church family in which we feel loved, supported and very comfortable.

Baby Shower!

My cousin, Lindsey, and I are pregnant together which has been fun. Our moms, aunts and Lindsey's sister thought it would be fun to throw us a surprise baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our babies! I think we were both mostly surprised because no one gets a shower after the first baby! Here we are together just as the shower was starting.

Our hosts did an amazing job creating a fun-filled, delightful evening. It was a real treat.
Two of my dear friends, Laura and Jodi, were able to attend.
Linsey and I by the cakes.
Opening gifts together. It was really nice having Lindsey to share the spotlight with.
Thank you Mom, Aunt Cindy, Aunt Linda and Nicki for putting this special night together! You ladies are incredibly generous, thoughtful and kind. And you know how to throw a party! What a treat to have a special night to celebrate our little ones. Thank you!

33 Weeks!

Here I am at 33 weeks along. I'm actually 35 weeks now but a bit behind with the pictures. All is going well- feeling very pregnant, large and starting to feel eager to have this baby!
Our beauties.
