Cottage!

We enjoyed a delightful, busy vacation at my folk's cottage on Barlow Lake. Lydia saw me making our packing list the day we left so she wanted to make one of her own...precious. :-)

Zach had to work so he can take time off when baby comes so he commuted 40 minutes to work every day. What a guy! The best part of my day was our evening family pontoon rides.

 My sister and her boys came out for a day- the kids had a great time playing together.

Carrie got to watch a show instead of take a nap during quiet time...as you can see she clearly needed a nap. :-)

Zach had a meeting scheduled so we invited the families of the members of the committee out for dinner and fun. Here are the kiddos enjoying dinner.

Our dear friends, the Gibbons family, came from Jarvis for the weekend. This is their third summer coming and we love our time together. Below Chuck is letting loose jumping off the pontoon.

This guy was fearless in the water. He kept me on my toes the whole time we were there and I said a lot of extra prayers for God's protection for him in the water.

We got a storm one of the last nights. Here is the beautiful sky after the storm passed...so beautiful.

What a great 2 weeks! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for sharing your cottage with us so graciously! We had a wonderful time and made many wonderful memories we will treasure.

31 weeks!

Here's the latest preggo update at 31 weeks! What?! It's so crazy how fast this pregnancy is going! I'm feeling lots of movement from Baby and we are getting very eager to meet our precious little one.

Kuperus Clan Visit!

Our dear friends, the Kuperus family, were in town from their home in Iowa visiting family and we got to enjoy their company for an evening. They arrived with their four children and the kids got re-aquainted very quickly. Below Silas is giving Skylar a rock. These two were born weeks apart and we have already arranged their future marriage. ;-)
