Welcome Westras

The Westras were out in Hamilton celebrating Easter with Dave's family so they stopped by for a quick afternoon visit on their way home. We were very excited to see them and for them to meet Lydia. Here are the four kids meeting Lydia for the first time.

We gave Pieter and Sarah their birthday gifts. They had to go on a scavenger hunt around the house to find it. Their gift was a candy coupon! So we headed out to the candy store so they could use their coupon to buy two items of candy of their choice.

It didn't take Pieter and Sarah long to open up their gifts- nothing like giving a 3 and 4 year old a big pouch of flavored sugar!

We came back home after some good playtime and had a long story time together. I think we read about 12 Berenstain Bear books together. :-)

The twins found the end table a much better sitting choice than the soft couch. :-)
