Baby Pop Crunch Time- 37 weeks!!

37 weeks already...is it really September tomorrow?! We are trying to prep Lyddi a bit for the baby to help her understand what is coming. She will point to my belly and say, "baby" and kiss my belly....but she does the same to Zach, herself...and just about anyone else. :-) Lately she has been putting a ball in her shirt and saying, "baby!" (Picture at the bottom.) She really doesn't understand what is coming, but it is sweet to see how her mind is processing Mamma's growing belly.
Here I was at 13 weeks...

17 weeks... (Lydia thought the sign was pretty cool.)

Lyddi wanted to be part of the photo shoot.

Me and Lyddi playing Starfall. As you can see, she has a nice resting shelf for her arm. :-)

Baby Pop Update- 6 weeks to go!

As I typed that I thought, "Wow...only 6 more weeks till we get to meet little Baby Pop." It's crazy how much faster this pregnancy seems to be going than the last one. We are much busier which I'm sure has a lot to do with it. I am feeling okay lately. Unfortunately I am dealing with a few not so fun pregnancy related issues (I'll spare you the details). But overall, I am feeling well and we are very thankful that baby is healthy and that I am still able to go for nice long walks which I greatly enjoy.

More Summer Lov'n

Wow, mid August already?! Between un-packing and getting settled, watching Lyddi, trying to get naps in when I can, get togethers, and fun summer activities...time is flying by. Here's what we've been up to lately. Lyddi and I went to the zoo with my dear buddy, Laura, and her son, Carter. Lyddi really enjoyed her first zoo visit. Her favorites were the monkeys and fish!
Here she is checking out a big turtle.
Mamma and Lyddi looking at he penguins.
Lydia took to Carter and Laura immediately. It was so sweet watching them together.
She also had fun on the toy train.
Petting Zoo...
Group shot at the end of the day. It was quite special because Laura and I took Carter on his first zoo visit when he was a little guy and nine years later, we are keeping the tradition going of enjoying our kids first zoo visits together.
We've been hanging out at our house a lot lately, getting unpacked and organized. Lyddi has been exploring her new surrounding too. Here she is putting ear plugs in her ears.
We do a LOT of reading at our place.
After dinner play time with Daddy- Wahoo!!
Future Apple genius maybe?!
Playing in her new play room. She LOVES puzzles.
Another favorite is going for bike rides. I am proud to say I am still able to go with Daddy and Lyddi, although only a few minutes at a time.
Wearing Mamma's "soos."
Another highlight of summer is getting to play with cousins. My mom bought these adorable dresses for all the grand daughters.
Pieter teaching Lydia about the toys she's playing with.
Listening to some tunes! (Actually there was no music, but she was pretending there was.)
It was a bit colder at the cottage than I realized so cousin Bryson let Lyddi borrow some of his clothes for the day.
 Playing Peek-A-Boo through the railing.
Driving the pontoon with Grandpa, Blake and Bry-guy.
 Fun stuff!

Baby Pop Update

We're in the third trimester...whoe! I am starting to feel more small aches and pains that come with the final trimester. On the positive side, I am feeling Baby kick and jab many times each day, especially at night. The doctor appointments are going well and she says everything looks great!

Summer Lov'n

We've been living with my parents while we house hunt this past month. Below are some pics of life lately. Here is a family picture at my birthday breakfast.
Blowing out candles at Dad and Tracy's house.
 Lydia's flexibility amazes me.
Lydia and Daddy having some bonding time together.
Lydia helping her cousins with a lemonade stand one afternoon.
Our little pool girl.

It's been so fun to see Lydia's progression with being comfortable in the water. Two weeks ago she would barely dip her toes into the pool and today she was jumping to Zach and me on her own!
