Misc. May Pics

Here are a plethora of pics from this past month. Si riding his new toy.
Quick pic of Daddy and the kids before heading to the carnival close to our home.
 The girls LOVED it!
Carrie exhibiting pure delight on the Ferris Wheel...
Another fun event was participating in a field day! Lydia got to "compete" in 5 events, including a dash! It was so precious to watch- but we were thankful her events went very quickly because it was HOT!

Lydia got some tadpoles for her birthday....let me just say that these are not your typical tadpoles...they're HUGE! I have been shocked at her ease in handling them. She has no qualms picking them out of the water and holding them when we change the tank water. Carrie and I keep a safe distance. I'm so thankful for her help because otherwise I would have to do it.
One of the many perks of a Costco trip...all the boxes that come home afterward- they made great spaceships this month.
Lovely little ladies all ready for church.
The girls got into mischief one night after finding our first aid kit. Not sure if you can tell but they drew on their stomachs and faces and put about 10 bandaids on themselves.
Making a paper mache volcano with Daddy...
The girls looked so cute the other Sunday so I wanted an outdoor picture before church- we were actually ready early so we had the time. Unfortunately Carrie wasn't into it. Below Lydia is trying to open her mouth so she will smile.
This was the best we got.
Swimm'n Si...as you can see he LOVES balls.
 "Can we swim now?!"
Carrie is transitioning out of her nap so some days when she naps she won't be tired until 10:00 at night. One night she crept downstairs and got to have some special cookie making time with Momma and Daddy. She was pretty pumped and we loved her company. I don't know what it is but kids' cuteness increases ten-fold after 9pm.
Lydia has a very mothering nature and has started feeding Silas his bottle for us- a tremendous help during breakfast prep!
Si standing!! We will have a walking Silas any day now...
