Cottage!

We spent a week at my parents' cottage for vacation this summer. It was a busy, fun week.

We invited some friends over for an afternoon. Here are all the kids eating lunch.

We also did a LOT of fishing, with nets and poles. Lydia caught a fish on her very first cast!

Si enjoyed the cottage too, although most of his time was spent sleeping. Here big sis, Carrie, is holding him...he's not too pumped as you can see.

Our good friends from Jarvis came for the weekend. It was so great catching up with them and seeing how their kids have grown.

Brandi and I were able to get away for a walk- it felt so good to exercise while connecting, uninterrupted, with my dear friend.
