OUCH! I was recently working on a Christmas craft and cut my thumb pretty badly. I ended up needing 4 stitches.
After the nurse dressed the cut it looked a lot worse than it actually was. Boy did I do a lot of explaining the next day at church.
A recent fun activity was decorating Christmas cookies with cousins!
Lydia was in her first Christmas program at church. It just melted our hearts watching her sing, "Mary Had a Baby!"
Lydia recently pulled this book off my parents book shelf.... is she making a prediction?! We will find out this week if she is right!
I recently had the privilege of connecting with a few of my Canadian girlfriends in Sarnia, just over the border. We had a delightfully slow lunch followed by pedicures. It was so great to re-connect and catch up with these lovely ladies.
With the mild winter we've been experiencing, we try to get outside when we can. The girls and I enjoy going for walks. So we bundle up and take walks down the road as often as we can. Below Care is pumped for her afternoon stroll!
Care's first attempt at a snow angel.
Carrie has inherited her Dad's ability to have her eyes partially or fully closed in most pictures taken of her. Take 1:

Another recent event was making gingerbread houses. Dad, Trace, Cal and Hannah came over to decorate with us.
Very focused on our work...
Zach gave Hannah an bread making lesson while they were over.
