This past month we got a couple 'end of season' zoo trips in before the weather gets too cold. Our first trip was with some new friends who recently moved here. They have 4 children and their youngest, Daena, and Lyddi get along really well. Below is a cool shot of Daena in front of a tiger.
Lyddi and Daena checking out the bear.I took a picture of the sky because it was a gorgeous day- not too hot or cold. And I know I will miss these beautiful skies come February.
Another fun outing was getting together with two of my long-time friends for a very belated birthday dinner. I also used this outing to announce our pregnancy... it's always so fun to see friends' reactions to the news in person! We enjoyed a delicious meal, and lots of laughs...a great night.
My cousin and dear friend, Lindsey, and her son, Hudson, were in town for a visit so we were able to spend a day at the zoo with them as well- what a treat! The kids got along great and we had a wonderful time chatting and re-connecting.

"We're having so much fun!"
