Lov'n Lydia

Life with Lydia is wonderful. We are adjusting and enjoying this precious time with our little one. It's hard to believe she has only been here for two weeks....it's hard to remember what life was like before her. We wouldn't change it for anything.
Here are a few shots from the hospital stay.

Zach's temporary bed. He was so excited to get a good nights rest once we got home.

After four nights in the hospital we were very eager to come home. It was the most bizarre feeling as we walked to the car with this little person. Lydia had a doctor's appointment the next morning at 9:00 and I am quite amazed that we got there on time! She had a great check-up.
Dad O (Grandpa), Tracy (Mimi), Uncle Cal and Auntie Hannah were able to come visit the next weekend to meet Lydia.

Auntie Hannah made a lovely sign for Lydia's door.

Here are a couple pictures of other visitors that came throughout the week. It's so fun to watch family and friends loving our little Lydia.

Mom Mallekoote was able to come and help out as we adjust to life with Lydia. She has been a huge help! Unfortunately I got a nasty infection mid-week and ended up in the emergency room on Tuesday night for six hours. Thankfully I was put on antibiotics immediately and I am feeling better every day. The weather has been gorgeous this past week and it's been killing me not being able to take Lydia for walks. Thankfully Zach and Mom have been taking her out while I stay on the porch and soak in some of the sunshine. She loves her walks.
