Babymoon!

When we were on our honeymoon two and a half years ago we met and spent a day with a couple who told us they were on their babymoon. We thought it was such a great idea that we decided to have our own. Zach surprised me by telling me to pack a bag and be ready to leave Friday afternoon. So after work I quickly packed and awaited our babymoon! We ended up in Niagara Falls for the night. Our hotel was right next to the falls. Here is a picture from our window.

We had a wonderful evening. We stopped at the Manager's Lounge and enjoyed great conversation, drinks and snacks before heading to dinner. We ate at TGIFridays.

When it came time for dessert I asked our waiter if he had any babymoon specials. I then explained what a babymoon is and he liked the idea so much he offered us a dessert on the house! We ordered this oreo/icecream/carmel beauty of a dessert- it was monstrous!

After a valiant effort from both of us, here is what was left over. It put us both in "food coma" mode for a while.

The next morning before heading out we made sure to take advantage of one of the perks of the hotel room by buffing our shoes.
