Domestic Engineering 101
I was invited to spend an afternoon with some girls in the kitchen. So I strapped on my apron and was put to work. We spent several hours peeling, baking, mixing, and canning applesauce. Then we worked in an assembly line making apple pies. At the end of the night we had 4 dozen cans of applesauce, 12 apple pies, and only one oven mitt caught on fire! So for anyone thinking of visiting, we have sweet, scrumptious apple pie, and warm, delightful applesauce waiting to fill your stomach. And the best part is they are made with love.

Wow, Kase...this entry is just begging for all kinds of fun comments. However, I will leave it at this: GOOD WORK! Way to embrace the "housewife responsibilities" with a passion for good ol' home cookin'!!
ReplyDeleteI gotta say, this reminds me of 3rd grade cooking class...did you do that with me? Remember we made little dutch apple pies at that school behind West Side? Hmmm...the good ol' days... :)
LOVE YOU!!!
Nice work! Kyle is a huge fan of homemade applesauce and apple pie too! I am very impressed. Hope all is well. We are thoroughly enjoying your blog. Love and miss you!
