Sep. Playdates and Outings!

Wow, these months keep flying by! Here is an account of the fun outings and playdates from this past month. Below we are unloading groceries from a Mallekoote Costco trip...always a fun, semi-chaotic outing. 

This month gave us some beautiful weather so we got in a few last swim days. Care and Tai in the kiddie pool.

 

I invited my friend, Jodi, and her 3 girls over for a swim. Below a few of the kids are enjoying some afternoon snow cones.

The girls were quite captivated by a babbling brooke on one of the zoo trails.

I had to have my eyes checked this month so I brought Lyddi with me. We had fun trying on some frames before my appointment.

We had a big cookout at our house with 4 other families. The weather cooperated and we had a great time enjoying one of the last warm nights of summer. It was a packed house with 14 kids and 10 adults!

We even got in some Bag-O for the first time this summer!

One morning I took the girls to a music and pet store just to look around. The pet store had some big tortoises, or as Carrie would say, "HUGE turtle!"

Carrie's little personality is coming out a lot lately- along with many new words and phrases each week! When she is trying to be funny she raises her eyes with a big smirk.

Some friend of ours from Canada visited for an afternoon. It was fun to catch up and see how each others' kids have grown. Below Adrian and Lydia are hanging out.

We had some countertop put in and it was pretty loud at times. Care was snuggling with me when it got pretty loud.

Another month has come and gone! Onto September...

Play Dates

We had some fun playdates this past month. One morning we were invited to some friends of ours from church. Below Lyddi and Amanda are working a puzzle.

They have a trampoline which, as you can see, was a BIG hit for Lydia.

Care wasn't too pumped at first...

But after a few minutes she got the hang of it and had a blast.

We had another friend from church over. Danielle came to play with the girls for a morning.

We heading to the Conference Grounds to visit our friends who were camping there. We brought the girls' bikes and they had a lot of fun biking with their friends.

It was pretty cold so we had to wrap Silas in Daddy's sweatshirt-- so cute!
